Lebanon 50,000 Livres Banknote, 2015, P-98, UNC, Commemorative, Polymer, 70 Years of Lebanese Army (1945-2015), TAP Authenticated

The 50,000 Lebanese livre note was issued by the Bank of Lebanon in 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Lebanese army. It has a combination of blue, green, brown, and red. The obverse features a silhouette of two soldiers, the national coat of arms, and a soldier carrying the national flag. Its reverse is vertically oriented and features the Monument of Martyrs in the headquarters of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense, a stalk of wheat, and a saluting soldier. The note does not have a watermark but has a simulated security thread with demetallized BDL. It measures 140 mm x 77 mm and bears the signatures of Bank Governor Riad T. Salameh and First Vice Governor Raed H. Charafeddine. This polymer banknote is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, this commemorative paper bill has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
