This polymer note is a specimen of the 50,000 livre note issued by the Banque du Liban in August 1, 2015 (Army Day) to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Lebanese Army. Its obverse side contains a silhouette of two soldiers on one side, the Lebanese coat of arms in the center, and a soldier carrying the Lebanese flag on the other side. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and features a silhouette of a soldier saluting to the Monument of Martyrs in Yarze, the headquarters of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense. Even though the note is printed on a polymer substrate and does not have a watermark, it still has a simulated security thread with demetalized BDL. Its dimensions are 140 mm by 77 mm. Because it is a specimen note, it has a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint on both sides and an all-zero serial number. This note has a Paper Money Guaranty (PMG) grade of 67, Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ), above average margins and registration, and minor handling.
