The 50,000 Lebanese livre note was issued by the Bank of Lebanon in 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Lebanese army, printed on polymer. It has a combination of blue, green, brown, and red. The obverse features a silhouette of two soldiers, the national coat of arms, and a soldier carrying the national flag. Its reverse is vertically oriented and features the Monument of Martyrs in the headquarters of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense, a stalk of wheat, and a saluting soldier. The note does not have a watermark but has a simulated security thread with demetallized BDL. It measures 140 mm x 77 mm and bears the signatures of Bank Governor Riad T. Salameh and First Vice Governor Raed H. Charafeddine. This particular banknote is a replacement note in uncirculated condition. Additionally, this commemorative paper bill has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
