The Lebanon 50 Livres Banknote was introduced by the Bank of Lebanon in 1964. This specimen banknoe has a color combination of black, brown, green, blue, yellow, and purple. The banknote’s obverse features a mosaic of a raging bull and a tree and the ruins of Corinthian columns of the 2nd century Roman Temple of Bacchus in Baalbek. The reverse features the Citadel of Tripoli. It also has a diagonal red SPECIMEN and DLR overprints on both the front and back.The note has a solid segmented security thread and a watermark that reveals a cedar tree. It is 155 x 85 mm in size. This specimen banknote has been given a grade 55 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
