The Lesotho 10 Maloti banknote is part of the 1989-1993 Issues. The obverse side features a corn cob (mielie) as a registration device, a coat of arms with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses, and the Moshoeshoe II wearing civilian clothes. The reverse side shows a Mosotho horseman wearing a Basotho hat (mokorotlo) in a corn (maize) field, mountains, and corn cob (mielie). This banknote that measures 133x70mm uses colors red and yellow. It contains a solid security thread with a printed LESOTHO and a watermark. It was given a grade of 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
