The Lesotho 10 Maloti banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2010. The banknote bears a color combination of red and yellow and is 130 x 70 mm in size. The obverse features King Moshoeshoe II, King Letsie III, King Moshoeshoe I, and the coat of arms of Lesotho depicting a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses. The reverse of the banknote depicts cosmos flowers. The note carries a registration device that shows a Basotho hat. It also has a windowed security thread with printed CBL and a watermark that reflects an image of King Moshoeshoe I in a top hat, an electrotype 10 capped with a Basotho hat, and Cornerstones. For added security, the banknote is also signed by Governor Moeketsi Senaoana. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
