The Lesotho 100 Maloti banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2009. The obverse of this green banknote features Moshoeshoe I with a club known as knobkierie, the coat of arms of Lesotho depicting a crocodile on a shield with Basotho horses on each side. It also displays an outline of the Basotho shield, a lance, and a club. The back of the paper bill features a herd of Merino sheep outside a building and a hut. The banknote is 140 x 70 mm in size and is equipped with a windowed security thread and a watermark that reflects the coat of arms of Lesotho.
