The Lesotho 2 Maloti banknote belongs to the 1989-1993 Issues. It is brown in color and measures 120 x 56 mm. The obverse side shows a coat of arms with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses and King Moshoeshoe II wearing civilian clothes. The reverse side features a flag and a curio shop in Maseru shaped like a Basotho hat (mokorotlo). It contains a solid security thread with a printed LESOTHO. The banknote uses a watermark with a Moshoeshoe II design. It was given a grade of 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
