The Lesotho 20 Maloti banknote was released by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2009. The obverse of this green banknote features Moshoeshoe I holding a club or a knobkierie, the coat of arms of Lesotho depicting a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses, an outline of the Basotho shield, a lance, and a club. The reverse of the banknote displays mountains, huts, cattle, and a young boy wearing a hat. The banknote is equipped with a registration device in the form of an agave plant and flowers and a watermark that shows the national emblem. The paper bill is 135 x 70 mm in size and has a windowed security thread. This Lesotho 20 Maloti banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
