The Lesotho 20 Maloti banknote was released by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2010. The banknote comes in a combination of blue and purple and is 135 x 70 mm in size. Its obverse features King Moshoeshoe II, King Letsie III, King Moshoeshoe I, and the coat of arms of Lesotho depicting a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses. The reverse of the banknote features round houses with thatched roofs. The paper bill bears a windowed security thread with printed CBL and a watermark that reflects King Moshoeshoe I in a top hat, an electrotype 10 capped with a Basotho hat, and Cornerstones. The banknote is also equipped with a registration device that shows a Basotho hat and the signature of Governor Moeketsi Senaoana. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
