Lesotho 200 Maloti Banknote, 2001, P-20b, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Lesotho 200 Maloti Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2001. The dark brown banknote bears English and Sotho texts. Its obverse depicts a small house in Optically Variably Ink, Moshoeshoe I holding a club, and the coat of arms of Lesotho with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses. The reverse depicts a plant and two shepherds with Merino sheep. The banknote contains a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals the coat of arms. It also has a registration device in the form of a plant. It is 144 and 70 mm in size and is signed by Stephen Mustapha Swaray. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
