The Lesotho 200 Maloti was issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2015. This orange banknote features King Moshoeshoe II, King Letsie III, and King Moshoeshoe I on its obverse. The note’s front design also depicts a holographic patch and the coat of arms with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses. The reverse of the note displays a man on a horse and a Basotho hat (mokorotlo). The paper bill contains an Optiks security thread and a watermark that reveals King Moshoeshoe I wearing a top hat, an electrotype 200 capped with a Basotho hat, and Cornerstones. The banknote is 145 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Adelaide Retselisitsoe Matlanyane. This particular paper bill has been graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
