The Lesotho 5 Maloti banknote is part of the 1989-1993 Issues. It is blue, and it measures 128 x 63 mm. The obverse side shows the country’s coat of arms with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses and King Moshoeshoe II wearing civilian clothes. The reverse side shows the Maletsunyane Falls. This banknote has a solid security thread with a printed LESOTHO. Additionally, it contains a watermark with the Moshoeshoe II design. It was given a grade of 66 by grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
