The Lesotho 5 Maloti Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 1989. Its obverse features King Moshoeshoe II wearing civilian clothes. It also depicts the coat of arms of Lesotho with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses. The reverse depicts the Maletsunyane Falls. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed LESOTHO and a watermark that reveals Moshoeshoe II. It is 128 x 63 mm in size and is signed by Evaristus Retselisitsoe and Anthony Morae Maruping. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
