Reviews:

The Lesotho 50 Maloti Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2009. It has a color combination of purple and blue and bears English and Sotho texts. Its obverse depicts Moshoeshoe I holding a club and the coat of arms of Lesotho with a crocodile on a shield flanked by Basotho horses. It also displays an outline of the Basotho shield, a lance, and a club. The reverse depicts a man on a horse with a pack mule and a rock formation on the Qiloane plateau. The banknote contains a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals the coat of arms, 50, and cornerstones. It also has a registration device in the form of a sorghum plant. It is 138 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Governor Moeketsi Senaoana. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
