This uncirculated 50 Lesotho maloti banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Lesotho in 2021. It is a violet banknote that bears the signature of Bank Governor Dr. Adelaide Retselisitsoe Matlanyane and measures 138 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features a holographic patch, King Moshoeshoe II, King Letsie III, King Moshoeshoe I, and the coat of arms of Lesotho. Its reverse side depicts men riding on horseback. Security features include a Basotho hat registration device, a windowed security thread with printed CBL and four-leaf clovers, and a watermark of King Moshoeshoe I with an electrotype 50 capped with a Basotho hat and Cornerstones.
