The Liberia 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Libreria in 2003. This red banknote features 5th president Edward James Roye on its obverse. Also on the obverse is the coat of arms of Liberia with a bird, a ship, a palm tree, a sun, and a plow. The reverse depicts the bank seal with a crossed kissi money and the obverse and reverse of a 50-cent coin dated 1969. It also shows a woman harvesting rice. The note contains a solid security thread but does not have a watermark. It is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Minister of Finance Charles R. Bright and Executive Governor Elie E. Saleeby. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
