The Liberia 500 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Liberia in 2017. It has a color combination of purple, blue, and yellow. The obverse depicts a woman, an elderly man, and a man wearing traditional costumes. The revere depicts the bank seal that reflects a crossed kissi money and the obverse and r4everse of a 50-cent coin dated 1969. It also shows an adult hippopotamus ande a calf. The banknote contains a rapid windowed security thread with demetalized stars. It also bears a registration device in the orm of a 5-pointed star. Its watermark reveals a coat of arms with an electrotype CBL. It is 143 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Milton A. Weeks and Boima S. Kamara. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
