The Libya half a pound banknote was issued by the Bank of Libya in 1963. This purple banknote depicts an olive branch and the coat of arms of Libya on its obverse. It also shows wheat and a fruit. The reverse depicts decorative borders. The note comes with a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals the coat of arms. It measures 155 x 67 mm. This specimen banknote has been given a grade of a 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
