This uncirculated quarter-dinar banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Libya in 2002. It is a brown, blue, green, and purple banknote that bears the signature of Abdulhafid Mahmoud Zilitni, and measures 142 mm x 71 mm. Its obverse side features the Arch of Trajan at the Leptis Magna in Al Khums. Its reverse side depicts a walled fortress and palm trees. Security features include a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic characters, a Libyan coat of arms registration device, and a watermark of the Libyan coat of arms.
