The Libya 1 Dinar Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Libya in 1991. It has a color combination fo light green, light blue, and purple. Its obverse side shows Muammar Qaddafi, a Libyan revolutionary, politician, and political theorist who governed Libya as Revolutionary Chairman of the Libyan Arab Republic from 1969 to 1977. The reverse side shows the Mawlai Muhammad mosque in Tripoli. The banknote has a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the coat of arms. The bankote measures 162 x 81 mm. The banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
