This 20 Libyan dinar note was issued by the Central Bank of Libya on 3 March 2009 to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the Peoples Power Proclamation in Libya. Though it is not dated, it is signed by Central Bank of Libya Governor Farhat O. Bengdara. Its obverse side features the map of the Great Man-Made River (GMMR) project. Its reverse side features the map of Africa and the Organization of African Unity leaders. Security features of the note include a Depth Image hologram found on the obverse side, a windowed security thread with demetalized 20 and Arabic characters, and watermarks of Omar El Mukhar, an electrotype 20, and Cornerstones. It has purple and tan colors and dimensions of 166 mm x 81 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
