This 5 Libyan dinar note was introduced by the Central Bank of Libya in December 12, 2015. It bears the signature of Central Bank of Libya Governor Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer. The note has green, gray, pink, and yellow colors and measurements of 137 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side features the Ottoman clock tower in Tripolis old town medina. Its reverse side showcases the Zeus temple found in Cyrene. Security features of the note include a holographic stripe with palm trees and 5 and a windowed security thread with demetalized 5.
