This uncirculated 500 Macedonian denar banknote is a specimen banknote issued by the National Bank of Macedonia in 1992. It is a green banknote that bear the signatures of Bank Governor Borko Stanoevski and Deputy Governor Tome Nenovski, and measures 144 mm x 77 mm. Its obverse side shows a scene of farmers picking tobacco leaves and a diagonal red overprint with Cyrillic text. Its reverse side depicts the Ilinden monument in Krusevo and a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has an all-zero serial number and a watermark that has a horizontal line pattern. The banknote was demonetized in 1993.
