The Madagascar 10,000 Ariary banknote is part of the Central Bank of Madagascars 2017 issues that have tactile geometric patterns for the sight-impaired and a theme of Madagascar and Its Riches. It comes in a combination of yellow, red, and brown colors. Its obverse side features an outline of the Madagascar map, a flower in SPARK Orbital, a ship in the port of Ehoala, and two birds in flight. Its reverse side features Valiha and Zafimaniry carved wooden objects. The banknote has dimensions of 144 x 78 mm and bears a 4-mm wide green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread with a demetalized BFM 10000. It also carries a watermark that reveals the head of Zebu cattle and an electrotype 10000. The note also has the signature of Governor Alain Herve Rasolofondraibe. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
