This uncirculated 100 Malagasy ariary banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Madagascar. It is a blue banknote that is dated 2004, bears the signature of Alain Herve M. Rasolofondraibe, and measures 120 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side shows a Ravinia palm tree and the forest of limestone needles in Tsingy de Bemaraha Strict Nature Reserve. Its reverse side depicts the Sugar Loaf Hill in Antsiranana Bay. Security features include a map of Madagascar as a registration device, a red and green solid security thread with printed BFM 100, and a Zebu cattle head watermark with an electrotype 100.
