This 20,000 Malagasy ariary banknote is the largest denomination in the Central Bank of Madagascars 2017 series that have tactile geometric features for the sight-impaired and a theme of Madagascar and Its Riches. It has blue, yellow, brown, red, and green colors and is made of a paper-cotton composite. Its obverse side contains a flower in SPARK Orbit ink, an outline of Madagascar, two flying birds, a turtle, the nickel processing plant in Ambatovy. Its reverse side features vanilla, lychees, and rice. The note is 149 mm long and 81 mm wide and is equipped with a 4-mm wide green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread with a demetalized BFM 20000. It also bears a watermark that reflects Zebu cattles head and an electrotype 20000. Additionally, the note carries the signature of Governor Alain Herve Rasolofondraibe. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
