Madagascar 20,000 Ariary Banknote, 2017 ND, P-104, UNC

This 20,000 Malagasy ariary banknote is in uncirculated condition. It is largest denomination in the 2017 series of banknotes that have tactile geometric features for the sight-impaired, a theme of Madagascar and Its Riches, a butterfly registration device, and a Zebu cattle head watermark. Other security features include a 4-mm wide green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread with demetalized BFM 20000 and an electrotype 20000 watermark. It has blue, yellow, brown, red, and green colors and is made of a paper-cotton composite. Its obverse side contains a flower in SPARK Orbit ink, an outline of Madagascar, two flying birds, a turtle, and a view of a nickel processing plant in Ambatovy. Its reverse side features vanilla, lychees, and rice. The note is 149 mm long and 81 mm wide.
