This uncirculated 200 Malagasy ariary banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Madagascar in 2004. It is a green banknote that bears the signature of Frederic Rasamoely and measures 126 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side shows a thatch-roofed gateway to a village and highland houses. Its reverse side depicts Aloalo (carved funerary posts) and zebu skulls on graves. Security features include the map as a registration device, a red and green solid security thread with printed BFM 200, and a watermark of a Zebu cattle head with an electrotype 200.
