This 2-piece banknote set comes with Mainz 25-50 Pfennig Notgeld Banknotes that were issued in 1920. The banknote's obverse and reverse side highlight a landscape view of the City of Mainz in the Federal state of Hesse featuring the historical Mainz Cathedral also known as St. Martin's Cathedral. It also depicts the market square with monuments and statues. The town seal and the bishop seal are printed on the center-front of the note along with the denomination and German text. The note does not contain any security threads nor watermarks however it measures 103 70 mm.
