This uncirculated 1,000 Malawian kwacha note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Malawi. It is a green and orange note that is dated 1st June 2021, bears the signature of Wilson Banda, and measures 132 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side features a fish, fishermen on a boat, the Reserve Bank of Malawi headquarters building, and a portrait of Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda. Its reverse side shows Mzuzu maize silos, a stalk of maize, a silhouette of two people grinding maize, and the bank logo. Security features include a holographic stripe, a windowed security thread with a demetallized 1000 RBM, a Malawi map registration device, and a watermark of Hastings Kamuzu Banda with an electrotype 1000 and Cornerstones.
