The Malawi 100 Kwacha Banknote comes from the 2014-2019 issues. The front side bears the effigy of James Frederick Sangala, the building of the Reserve Bank of Malawi headquarters in Lilongwe with the sun rising and shining over it, fishermen fishing, and a Livingston's cichlid (Nimbochromis Livingstonii) locally known as Kalingono. The back side shows the College of Medicine in Blantyre, a stethoscope that symbolises quality medical training for the provision of the essential health services along with the logo of the Reserve Bank of Malawi. This TAP Authenticated banknote is red and orange in color which measures 128 x 64 mm.
