The Malawi 20 Kwacha Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Malawi in 2007. The obverse of this purple banknote features three men in a boat in Lake Malawi and the portrait of John Chilembwe. Its reverse depicts two farmers harvesting tea leaves on a tea plantation and the bank logo. Security features include a fish registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized RBM, and a watermark of Chilembwe with an electrotype 20. The note measures 138 mm x 69 mm and is signed by Governor Victor Mbewe. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
