The Malawi 50 Kwacha Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Malawi in 2005. This blue banknote features John Chilembwe on the obverse. The reverse depicts the Independence Arch in Blantyre, the bank logo, and a fish. Security features of this note include a holographic stripe, a windowed security thread with demetallized RBM, and a watermark that reveals an image of Chilembwe and an electrotype 50. The note is 144 x 72 mm in size. The is also signed by Victor Mbewe. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
