This uncirculated 50 Malawian kwacha banknote is a standard circulation note that is dated 31 October 2007 and signed by Reserve Bank Governor Victor Mbewe. It is a blue note that measures 144 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features three men in a boat in Lake Malawi and the portrait of John Chilembwe. Its reverse side depicts the Independence Arch in Blantyre and the Reserve Bank of Malawi logo. Security features include a fish registration device, a holographic stripe, a windowed security thread with demetalized RBM, and a watermark of Chilembwe with an electrotype 20.
