Reviews:

The Malawi 500 Kwacha Banknote, released in 2011, and is part of the 2001-2011 issues. This banknote has a distinctively bigger dimension of 162 x 81 mm and has brown and blue colors. The front side bears the portrait of Reverend John Chilembwe at the right, a sunrise along with men fishing on Lake Malawi. The back side bears the headquarters of the Reserve Bank of Malawi at the left, with Zebras and Roan Antelope at the lower right. It features a windowed security thread with a watermark of the Portrait of John Chilembwe and 500 in vertical.
