Malaya 10,000 Dollars Banknote Replica, 1940-1953, P-17, UNC

This gold note is a replica of the 10,000 Malayan dollar banknote. It is made of 999 fine gold. The 10,000 Malayan dollar note was the highest valued note issued by the Board of Commissioners of Currency Malaya and was used mostly for inter-bank transactions. The note has a blank back. Its front features the portrait of King George VI in an oval frame on the right and an ornate guilloche on the left. The gold note is stored in a banknote box and comes with an information card from the Singapore Mint.
