Maldives 100 Rufiyaa Banknote, 2015, P-29a, UNC, Polymer, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Maldives 100 Rufiyaa Banknote is part of the 2015-2018 Polymer Issues. It is red and measures 150 x 70 mm. The front side shows an underprint of the old Dhivehi alphabet (Dives akuru), the denomination as a registration device, a group of locals in the traditional attire, and a seated woman wearing the traditional dress (Libaas), working on the neckline threading (Hiru) of a similar dress. The reverse side shows the early Dhivehi scripture (Dambidū Lōmāfānu ). This TAP-authenticated banknote has no security thread. However, it bears a watermark (shadow image) with a coat of arms.
