Reviews:

This commemorative album contains one uncirculated 5,000 Maldivian rufiyaa note issued by the Maldives Monetary Authority to celebrate the 50th anniversary of independence. It is a light blue and gold polymer note that is dated 01 August 2015, bears the signatures of Dr. Azeema Adam and Ms. Aishath Zahira, and measures 165 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features a combination of people, trees, buildings, and boats symbolizing the growth and development of the northern seashore of the capital city of Male over 50 years. Its reverse side shows a depiction of the official gaining of independence inside a large 50 and an interwoven background that signifies the uniqueness, craftsmanship, heritage, and Islamic customs retained by Maldivians. Because this note is made of polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread or a watermark.
