Maldives 50 Rufiyaa Banknote, 1987, P-13b, UNC

The Maldives 50 Rufiyaa Banknote was issued by the Maldives Monetary Authority in 1987. This blue banknote features a bunch of coconuts on its obverse. It also depicts cowrie shells and a dhivehi odi (boat) in full sail It reverse depicts a harbor market, chickens, bananas, and fish. It contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals the coat of arms of the Maldives. The note is 150 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Governor Maumoon Abdul Gayoom. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
