This uncirculated 5,000 Mauritanian ouguiya note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Mauritania. It is an olive and ochre note that is dated 28 November 2011, bear the signatures of Mohamad Ould Sidna and Sid Ahmed Ould Raiss, and measures 150 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Great Mosque Ibn Abbas and a holographic patch with the denomination in Arabic numerals. Its reverse side shows a diesel train unloading iron ore in the port of Nouadhibou. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BANQUE CENTRALE DE MAURITANIE and a watermark of a bearded man with an electrotype 5000.
