This uncirculated 500 ouguiya Mauritania note is a specimen banknote issued by the Central Bank of Mauritania. It is a green note that is dated 1991, bears the signature of Ahmed Ould Zein, and measures 162 x 87 mm. Its obverse side features an ornate design. Its reverse side shows field workers and a mine entrance. Security features include a green-yellow-green thread with printed BANQUE CENTRALE DE MAURITANIE, an all-zero serial number, and a watermark of a bearded man.
