This uncirculated 500 ouguiya Mauritania polymer note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Mauritania. It is a blue note that is dated 2020, bear the signatures of Cheikh El Kebir and Moulay Taher, and measures 145 x 65 mm. Its obverse side features an open book on stand, mosque tower in Tichitt, star and crescent moon. Its reverse side shows fish underprint, fishing boats at sea and an open book on stand. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of a shadow image. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
