Mauritius 500 Rupees Banknote, 2007, P-58, UNC

This uncirculated 500 Mauritian Rupees banknote is dated 2007 and signed by Bank Governor Rundheersing Bheenick, First Deputy Governor Yandraduth Googoolye, and Second Deputy Governor Ahmad Jameel Khadaroo. It has an orange color scheme and dimensions of 155 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side contains English, Hindi, and Tamil text, the Mauritian coat of arms, a portrait of Sookdeo Bissoondoyal, the Bank of Mauritius building façade, a picture of Justice with a sword and scales, and a silver foil oval Its reverse side depicts a view of the University of Mauritius in Reduit. Security features of the note include a conch shell registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized BANK OF MAURITIUS, and a watermark of a dodo bird head.
