The Mexico 1,000 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1983 as part of the series UH. The banknote has a color combination of brown, green, purple, and red. Featured on its obverse is Juana de Asbaje y Ramirez de Santillana with her hand on an open book. The reverse depicts the bank guilloche and the church and fountain in Plaza de Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo Plaza in Mexico City). It also reflects the bank seal. The note comes with a solid security spread with printed BANXICO MIL PESOS. Its watermark displays Juana de Asbaje. The note is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez and Miguel Mancera Aguayo. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
