Featured on its obverse is Juana de Asbaje y Ramirez de Santillana with her hand on an open book. The reverse depicts the bank guilloche and the church and fountain in Plaza de Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo Plaza in Mexico City). It also reflects the bank seal. The note comes with a solid security spread with printed BANXICO MIL PESOS. Its watermark displays Juana de Asbaje. The note is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez.
