This Mexico 1,000 Peso Series VW banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1984. It comes in a combination of brown, green, purple, and red. Featured on its obverse design is a Mexican writer and philosopher Juana de Asbaje with her hand on an open book. The note also depicts an inkwell and a quill. The reverse of the note depicts bank guilloches, the bank seal, an inkwell and a quill, and the church and fountain in Plaza de Santo Domingo in Mexico City. The paper bill is 157 x 67 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. This Mexico 1,000 Peso banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
