The Mexico 1,000 Pesos banknote is part of the 1969-1991 Fourth Issues. It has colors brown, green, purple, and red and it measures157 x 67 mm. The obverse side shows an inkwell and a quill, Juana de Asbaje with a hand on an open book. Meanwhile, its reverse side bears a bank guilloche, a church and a fountain in PLAZA DE SANTO DOMINGO (Santo Domingo Plaza) in Mexico City, a bank seal, and an inkwell and a quill. This banknote belongs to the Series YF and contains a solid security thread but has no watermark.
