This banknote features the Windowed Motion security thread and solid security thread and has the portrait of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla for its watermark. The front side shows the portrait of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the Bell of Dolores along with the map of Mexico as a registration device. The back side shows the University of Guanajuato. This banknote measures 155 x 66 mm and is rose and violet in color.
