The Mexico 1 Peso Banknote was introduced by the Bank of Mexico in 1965 with shades of black, green, and red. Its obverse features the Aztec calendar. The reverse displays the bank seal and the Independence Monument with an angel a top in Mexico City. It also shows the bank guilloche. The note does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Salvador Marquez. It measures 157 x 67 mm. This particular banknote is part of Series BCU and is in uncirculated condition.
